スペシャル版では、最も初期のものであるカセットの３作品以降の時代に焦点を合わせた。東京・六本木のストライプハウス美術館での作品の展示と、氏家の後期の代表作である《Background Music》の展示風景を収録したビデオからの音源を収録したCDRをボーナスとして追加。彼が保管していた《Background Music》に関する当時の写真や資料は美術館にも残っておらず、非常に貴重である。茶色の箱入り、限定60。

tr.1 : サウンド・インスタレーション作品群
1987年、ストライプハウス美術館での展示の記録ビデオ映像より音を抜粋。展示物やカメラアングルごとに映像と音が切り替わるが、それらを編集して、ひと続きの音の記録としてまとめた。展示物はおおむね以下のような内容で、同じ空間内での展示のため、音が交錯している。撮影対象との距離による音量の大小も、ある程度調整した。作品の概要はレギュラー版CDの解説を参照いただきたい。

tr.2 : バックグラウンド・ミュージック
自然放射線（バックグラウンド）をガイガーカウンターで検知し、それをトリガーとしてピアノが反応するインスタレーション。録音は福岡市美術館展覧会「メディアの複合　音と造形」でのインスタレーションのもの。ピアノ１台をガイガーカウンター12台が取り囲み、その地点の放射線を計測するイメージでセッティングされた。
この作品はパルテノン多摩市民ギャラリーで最初に展示され、同じセッティングで福岡市美術館と高松市美術館で展示された。スパイラル・ガーデン（東京・青山）での展示（市村左知雄プロデュースによる）では、ピアノ３台という規模に加え、ソニーが自社製のテレビモニター提供を申し出て、9台が周囲に配置された。氏家は当時CG制作の仕事をしており、モニター画面には原子の崩壊のようなCG映像が流された。すべて1991年発表。

Sounds are excerpted from video footage of an exhibition at the Striped House Museum of Art in Roppongi, Tokyo from 1987. The contents of the exhibits are as follows, and since they are displayed in the same space, the sounds are interspersed.

tr.2: Background Music (sound file)
This is an installation in which background radiation is detected by a Geiger counter, which triggers the piano to react. The recordings are from an installation at the Fukuoka Art Museum exhibition Complexity of Media: Sounds and Shapes. The installation was set up with the image of a piano surrounded by 12 Geiger counters to measure the radiation at that point.
This work was first exhibited at the Parthenon Tama Citizens Gallery, and then in the same setting at the Fukuoka Art Museum and Takamatsu Art Museum. At the exhibition at Spiral Garden (Aoyama, Tokyo), in addition to the three pianos, Sony offered to provide TV monitors, and nine of them were placed around the installation. Uji-ie was working in CG production at the time, and CG images that depicted the decay of atoms, among other things, were shown on the monitor screens.
