A collection of small pieces of tape music by renowned composers, that haven’t been talked about very much. It includes “Meikai no Heso (The Umbilicus of Limbo)”, an early tape work of Yuji Takahashi, as well as pieces such as the only tape work of Yoshio Hachimura, an unconventional composer who died young and “Jo-un Keiji sho”, a piece created by Kuniharu Akiyama in celebration of John Cage’s 75th birthday. Each piece is very important, and also the first time to be released in CD format! Also added to this CD release is the original soundtrack of “Shikisokuzekuu”, a short film by an experimental visual artist Toshio Matsumoto, that was discovered at Ichiyanagi’s home in 2019.
