Eisuke Yanagisawa is an ethnographer, field recordist, and filmmaker. Since 2006, his main research focuses on the Gong Culture of ethnic minorities living in the Central Highlands of Vietnam. His field recording works were released in various labels as Gruenrekorder, Very Quiet Records and others.

This beautiful work was recorded at Minami-daito island, is coral reef island located at south dead end of Kagoshima pref. The recording is not only nature soundscape but also collection of vernacular culture mixed Japan and ancient Okinawa.
